Jayden sat at one of the back tables, earphones in and blaring. She was suppose to be studying, however, she was sleeping. She didn't get much sleep last night, listening to music and homework. So here she was, passed out at the table, already having slept through two classes without even realizing it.

After second period was lunch. Tim didn't eat very much so he decided to go to the library to return a book and find a new one. The last book he got was pretty lame. He was browsing through the fantasy section when he noticed Jayden asleep on a table. He walked over and took a gander at her. She looked like she was in a coma.
"Hey" He shook her shoulder, slinging drool off her face. He shook her again, "Jayden, wake up.." He tried to keep his voice at a whisper.

"It's four.." She muttered, half asleep, before blinking. She saw Tim in front of her, she felt embarrassed feeling the drool and quickly wiped it away. "Tim?" She asked, looking around, seeing she was at the library, "Uh oh... how long have i been out?" She asked the boy standing in front of her.

He could tell she was embarrased. He consoled, "You've only been out for like 2 periods. Its alright." He looked around to see where the librarian was lurking. She was putting battered books back on a shelf across the room.
"A word of advice though. If you're tired, just go to the nurse's office. She's really gullible" He smiled at her.

She smiled, rubbing the back of her head, "Thanks, i'll try to remember next time." She chuckled a bit, "Although it was by pure accident, i stayed up too late last night."

"Haha. I do that all the time. Nothing a lil' coffee can't help." He didn't know what else to say so he decided to ask a question. "What kind of music do you like to listen to?"

She smiled, "Mainly rock, Rise Against, MCR, Linkin Park, and other bands like that." She said, "What about you? What's your favorite music?" It was nice, music was the perfect bridge to any conversation. No matter where anyone went, music was common ground.
